Car parking is available within easy walking distance. The site contains access for all routes, alongside more challenging routes unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Seasonal parking tickets are available at an annual cost of £31 (£21 for concessions and members of FOAM). For further information or to pay by credit or debit card telephone 01606 271506 or email workplacesolutionscentral@qwestservices.co.uk.
The Friends of Anderton and Marbury (FoAM) are a group of local residents who have come together to support, influence and play an active role in the future of Northwich Woodlands. The group was founded in 1999 and has since grown to a membership of over 160. Around 20 members are regular volunteers who help the Cheshire West and Chester Rangers on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The group organises events throughout the year and publishes a regular newsletter.
The park hosts Cheshire West and Chester Council's Ranger Service for the Northwich Woodlands.
The site also hosts Marbury Swimming Club, an open air pool for members. Email the membership secretary, jeanette.unsworth@uk.ngrid.com for more information.
Why not explore the rest of the Northwich Woodlands? Stroll through the meadow at Furrey Wood, follow the wildflower trail at Anderton Nature Park or catch a glimpse of the wildlife at Ashton’s and Neumann’s Flashes.
With the exception of the island site of Furrey Wood, all other sites lie within the heart of the Northwich Woodlands. Cyclists can explore the links with national cycle ways, whilst pedestrians can combine a visit to Northwich Woodlands with routes such as the North Cheshire Way.
