Every Year over the August Bank holiday weekend, The Northwich Festival takes place. Featuring sports activities and entertainment for all the family, the Northwich Festival is a landmark event in the local calendar.

As part of the regeneration of Northwich Town Centre, Cheshire West and Chester Council are planning to build a new cultural space to replace the Northwich Memorial Hall. Cheshire West and Chester Council and Brio Leisure have a developing arts and cultural programme for the venue which we will enhance and extend as we consult with the community, cultural and educational partners.

Development of the Arts Northwich also promotes a wide range of arts activities and entertainment, in a variety of venues across Northwich and Rural North.

Cheshire Open Studios is an exciting and successful free annual event that takes place annually in Cheshire over 3-4 weekends in September. During this time between 40-80 artists and craft makers open their studios each year, either as individuals or in-groups.

Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse is full of displays and tales of the history and industry of West Cheshire. The stories are told through films, reconstructions, models and vivid displays of intriguing artefacts relating to local industries, market towns, transport, archaeology, and the building’s former history.
