Anti-social behaviour

Alert message sent 27/02/2022 11:05:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

Sorry we have been a bit remiss with our social media this week.

Sandbach Beat Team have been busy all week responding to numerous reports of anti-social behaviour in Sandbach, Middlewich and Congleton.

Issues that we have been dealing with include youths drinking alcohol, drug use, youths being abusive and throwing eggs at properties.  Our response to these incidents has been varied depending upon the severity and the people involved, i.e. some have been arrested whilst others will be receiving a warning from our ASB team.  In most cases parents have been visited and letters are being sent.

This work is ongoing as CCTV is reviewed and partner agencies are being contacted.

If you are a victim of anti-social behaviour please report it via 101 or through Cheshire Police website. Together we can make our community a safer place to live and work.
