Wilmslow East Police Update

Good afternoon,

Below is a brief update of recent activity in Wilmslow:
  • There has been a sharp increase in the theft of mopeds/motorbikes in Wilmslow and surrounding areas. These vehicles are then being used to commit further crimes.
  • Regarding the above, if you have any CCTV or dashcam footage of groups of mopeds in the area, please get in contact either through the Cheshire police website or 101, quoting IML1017384
  • There was a sexual assault on 16/06/21 15:00 at 'Scalley Ally' connecting Wilmslow High school to Wilmslow Leisure centre / train station. The male was described as 'Brown skin, 20s-30s, blue jeans and blue top, overweight and a British accent.' If you saw anything or believe you may have information relating to the incident, please ring 101 or report online quoting IML1014891.
  • 'Lock Burn' burglaries (touch wood) have dropped significantly over the past month
