Good results
The LPU have recently had some positive results with dealing with shop lifters with a number having received prison sentences which has allowed us time to deal with other issues on our area.
ASB has increased around the Dukes field (including the Temple) area. We are currently trying to identify a number of youths involved.
Parking Ongoing enforcement in the area with both advice and fixed penalty tickets issued. This has been enforced over the last few weeks and will continue.   (We have increased our parking enforcement in the last month)
We have removed a number of vehicles with no tax/ insurance
Roads Policing
Tru-Cam enforcement (Speed awareness courses offered and, if appropriate, penalty points) will be taking place on a weekly basis.
Community information
SCAMS please be aware we have had a number of reports of scams involving criminals trying to steal money from accounts via E-mails, social media phone calls etc. If in doubt, check the details and never give out bank or personal details.  There is a handy booklet at Runcorn Police station that is free, it contains lots of useful information.
School talks are being conducted with regular visits in our primary schools.
We have an ongoing operation to deal with illegal and off road bikes any information would be gratefully received.

We are keen over the coming months to try and advertise the introduction of Neighbourhood Watch schemes in Mersey area via the Cheshire Alert web page.
If any members of Cheshire Alert would like to set-up and become a coordinator of a watch scheme then we, as the police, will offer support and advice in any way we can. My e-mail is attached at the bottom of this newsletter and I look forward to hearing from anyone who wishes to set-up a scheme that we can get involved with.
