Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
28 July to 3rd August 2019
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Somerville Crescent – Entry gained into property by forcing rear window. Television X Box projector, food and fishing rods taken.
  • Rossmore
  • John Street – Entry gained into property by unknown means. 2 cameras, a lens and jewellery taken.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Sutton
  • Hyde Close – Attempt made to prise open kitchen window causing damage to the plastic surround.  No entry gained.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Drive – Bike left unattended and insecure in bike rack has tyres and seat damaged by unknown offender.
  • Rossmore
  • Oil Sites Road – Fire within ‘Big Atom Tyre Recycling’ building, believed to be deliberate ignition. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • The Birches – Trampoline in garden set alight.
  • Parkgate
  • The Ropewalk – Wooden street bench has back pulled off.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Pencil jammed into door lock damaging lock.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – 2 separate properties reporting damage during the time frame of this bulletin.
    • Outer pane of living room window smashed and front door kicked causing the wood to split.
    • Front door of flat kicked through. 
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Whilst at ‘Bowling alley’ Samsung S10 taken whilst temporarily unattended.
  • Coliseum Way – 2 unknown male youths take 3 pairs of shoes from ‘Freedome’.
  • Mercer Walk – Whilst in ‘Peacocks’ purse removed from handbag.
  • Highfield Road – Electric motor Adrenaline bike taken from rear garden after padlock cut off gate to gain access. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Buggen Lane – Wooden bench, inscribed with ‘Neston Town Council’ taken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Having misplaced wallet caller has returned to ‘Tesco Express’ CCTV has shown it to be dropped with a female then picking it up from the floor and walking out with it, making no attempt to inform staff or loser.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Green Lane – 2 motorcycles, parked on the driveways of 2 separate residential properties have their registration plates removed and taken by an unknown offender.
    • Triumph Tiger motorcycle has registration plate, showing KU11 KOH taken.
    • Honda has registration plate, showing H381 GLO taken.
  • Victoria Road – Registration plate, showing YD63 ZYO taken from a moped.
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Vauxhall Corsa, parked in road has both front and rear registration plates, showing DK16 ODW taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rugby Road – Vauxhall Mokka found with purple paint and scratches on the drivers door.
  • Rossmore
  • Charles Price Garden – VW Golf has red nail varnish thrown over rear of vehicle and wheel arch above rear wheel. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Ford Focus has rear windscreen smashed.
