 Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
27th April to 3rd May 2019
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Damage caused to front door to gain entry. Cash taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Whitby
  • Chester Road – During the early hours of the morning a male and female enter the secure yard to the rear of the ‘Community Support Shop’ having cut the lock from the gate. Shed in the rear yard are then accessed.  Various items are then taken from within. – Male arrested and charged. 
  • Neston
  • Quarry Road – Entry gained onto building site by unknown means.  Cabins on site approached and window plates forced off to gain entry to office and main cabin area. Quantity of building tools and equipment taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Fence climbed over to access rear garden.  Side panel removed from one shed to gain access.  Nothing appears to have been taken. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Temporary signage in new car park at ‘Cheshire Oaks’ damaged by a group of youths.
  • Whitby
  • Underwood Drive – Brick thrown through window of caravan which was parked on residential driveway. 
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Group of youths outside ‘Madisons’ have damaged the cigarettes boxes outside the premises. 
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Grange Road – TV aerial, sticking out of open window taken by group of youths who had been causing a nuisance.
  • Wellington Road – Green and white Scott bike, locked up outside ‘Asda’ taken after lock removed by unknown means.
  • Coliseum Way – Unknown offender has gained entry into an arcade machine inside ‘Megabowl’ by unknown means and taken a quantity of cash from within.
  • Marina Drive – 2 incidents reported during the time frame of this bulletin.
    • Black mountain bike, secured outside ‘Lloyd Bank’ taken after lock removed by unknown means.
    • Black and green Carrera Vulcan mountain bike, secured outside ‘Home & Bargain’ taken.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Blue and black Carrera mountain bike, secured in bike racks outside ‘Ellesmere Port Sport Village’ taken. 
  • Netherpool
  • Hillside Drive – White Heritage bike with brown basket and seat taken from outside property. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Langley Court – During the overnight period a turf cutter has been taken from the rear of a pick up truck (no further vehicle details). 
  • St. Pauls
  • Oliver Lane – Vauxhall Astra, parked outside residential address has both front and rear registration plates, showing KK08 DFP taken.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Rossmore
  • Horace Black Gardens – Vauxhall Mokka scratched along length of vehicle and drivers side window smashed. 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Audi A6, being driven along road damaged by stones thrown by a group of youths. – Named suspects.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Porsche 718, parked in car park of ‘Little Sutton Library’ scratched with an unknown implement to the driver door leaving an 8 inch mark to the door sill. – Repeat victim.
