Study into Violence Against Shop Staff
The Home Office is running a study into instances of violence against shop staff, they are seeking to understand the true scale and nature of the problem. As there have been several instances of violent offenders assaulting staff upon being detained (most recently in the Cockhedge Centre when a male was detained during a theft from Savers) we would encourage all of you to take part in this survey so that the Home Office can be made aware how widespread this problem is.
