 If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Entry gained through an insecure rear door.  Untidy search made and items of jewellery taken. – Named suspect. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Conway Court – Garage door ripped off.  Items still within garage but not known what has been taken at this time.
  • Green Lane – 2 unknown males seen forcing entry into an outbuilding before making off in a n unknown direction.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • West Road – Padlock damaged at rear of ‘Sutha Food and Wine’ by unknown male who ran off on being confronted.
  • Alnwick Drive – Rubbish set alight next to ‘Alnwick Drive Community Centre’.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Market Hall – Male removes cash box from one of the market stalls. – Male arrested.
  • Wellington Road – Purse removed from shopping trolley whilst in ‘Asda’.  Quantity of cash since removed from bank account. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Hinderton Road – Whilst sleeping in ‘Stanney Fields’ an unknown offender has removed a bag containing belongings.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Lower Mersey Street – Vauxhall Corsa has rear windscreen smashed and Hyundai has damage caused to body work whilst parked in car park area of ‘Portside House’.
