Burglaries
 

 

Incidents reported relating to residential property:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Beaumaris Drive – Entry gained via bedroom window.  Cash taken. – Male arrested.
  • Whitby
  • Skye Close – Black strap tied around front door handle to prevent it from being opened before front window smashed with an unknown object and keys taken from within.  Silver BMW 335D, MK14 TTF then taken from the driveway.
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road – Window in rear door smashed to gain entry.  Television, mobile phone and tablet taken. – Male arrested.
  • Redhills Mews – During the early hours of the morning the home owner has heard someone trying the back door handle.  Upon investigating they have found the rear gate open and 2 Carrera mountain bikes taken from the garden.
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Churchill Court – Unknown offender/s have made an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry into a ground floor flat by trying to force wooden and upvc door frame.
  • Netherpool
  • Seymour Road – Rear window in door smashed to gain entry.  Untidy search made within.  Not known what has been taken at this time.
     
    Incidents reported relating to business premises:
     
    ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Merseyton Road – Entry gained by unknown means into ‘The Fun Factory’ during night time hours by unknown means. Further access gained into office area where cupboards have been opened. Laptop taken.
     
    Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
     
    ELLESMERE PORT EAST
     
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Unlocked cardboard shed at rear of ‘KFC’ entered and black Carrera mountain bike taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Crescent Road – Entry gained into allotment ground and shed entered by unknown means breaking glass and leaving the door open.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Entry gained into garden shed by forcing door with a pitch fork. Quantity of fishing equipment taken.

Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Mercer Walk – Whilst locking up the doors to the ‘Port Arcades’ 2 unknown girls have kicked the doors causing them to be inoperable.
  • Mornington Avenue – CCTV camera ripped off front wall.
  • Thornton Road – Play equipment set alight.
  • Whitby
  • Orchard Road – Male throws brick at window causing outer pane to smash. – Named suspect.
  • Stanney Lane/Underwood Drive – Youths have damaged phone box.
  • Strawberry
  • St. Marks Crescent - Cat shot by pellet gun causing injury which has resulted in an operation being required.
  • Rossmore
  • Red Hills Mews – Unknown offenders in white car/derived van have pulled up outside the address and smashed the rear windscreen in a Vauxhall Astra parked at the address.  They have then smashed a glass panel in the front door and also let off fireworks before leaving in the white vehicle.
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Rudstone Close – Plant pot thrown through window. – Female arrested.
  • Netherpool
  • Straker Avenue – Trees within rear garden overhanging fencing into public park set alight.
  • Overpool Road – Stone thrown smashing front window.
  • St. Pauls
  • Sutton Way – Ground floor flat window smashed. – Female arrested.
  • Grangecrimiknal
  • Sutton Way – Large concrete slab thrown at side window causing it to smash.

Theft

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – Rear yard entered and black and lime coloured Carrera bike taken.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Pair of Nike trainers, size 5 taken from shoe shelf at Freedome trampolines.
  • Kinsey Road – Handbag left in ‘Old Hall Farm’ restaurant taken by unknown offender.
  • Coliseum Way – Wallet, possibly dropped between Ten Pin bowling and vehicle parked within car park. – Found short time later minus the cash.
  • Cromwell Road – Entry gained into ‘Cadent Gas’ site by forcing boundary fencing.  3 hydraulic peckers taken.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Entry forced into a locker at David Lloyds and jacket, wallet and IPhone 6s taken.
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Greenfield Drive – 6 x concrete pitched coping stones removed from wall.
  • Neston
  • High Street – Male barged into female on High Street.  She has then noticed her bag open and a black pouch, containing hearing aids has been taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • New Chester Road – During a four week time frame entry has been gained into electricity substation and five metres of cable has been removed.
  • Netherpool
  • Rivacre Road – Access has been gained into secured building site at ‘Vauxhalls Sports & Social Club’ by unknown means and a generator taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Heath Grove – Voodoo Canzo mountain bike taken from outside the front of a residential property.
  • Red Lion Lane – Dethleff 540 caravan, parked on residential driveway taken. – CCTV shows vehicle being towed by a black vehicle.

Vehicle Crime

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 

  • Whitby
  • Skye Close –Silver BMW 335D, MK14 TTF then taken from the driveway after keys obtained during a burglary.
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Welsh Road – Ford Cmax, SH09 NYB, left in car park of industrial units on a farm having broken down to await recovery.  Unknown offender/s have then accesses and removed the vehicle.
  • Neston
  • Ringway – 4 males on 2 motorbikes disturbed trying to take callers motorbike. – No further details.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stanney Mill Lane – BMW S motorbike, parked at Chester Harley Davidson has registration plate, displaying DC65 WZW taken.
  • Mornington Avenue – Unsuccessful attempt made to gain entry into boot area of BMW 318.
  • Whitby
  • Vale Road – Vauxhall Vivaro, parked at road side approached by 2 unknown males who remove side skirts and wind deflector before being disturbed and running off with items.
  • Desside – Entry gained in a Ford Cougar, which was possibly insecure and wallet taken from within.
  • Rossmore
  • Rossmore Road East – Whilst parked up on building site 2 unknown males have attended in a white Vauxhall Combo van and removed a whizzer and hydraulic breaker from a trailer, placing them into their vehicle before driving off.
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Denhall Lane – Hyundai has rear nearside quarter light window smashed and a rucksack taken from within.
  • St. Pauls
  • Woodchurch Lane – Mercedes estate has 3 dust caps taken.
     
    Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
     
    ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Sherbourne Road – Vauxhall Corsa, parked at roadside has both wing mirrors kicked bending both back and leaving a crack to the offside mirror.
  • Newnham Drive – Renault Clio, parked on residential driveway has nearside front window smashed, and the interior doused with accelerant before being set alight causing extensive damage.
  • Milton Road – Mercedes C, parked in area behind local shops is scratched down the passenger side of the vehicle and has 3 tyres slashed.
  • Rossmore
  • Red Hills Mews – Unknown offenders in white car/derived van have pulled up outside the address and smashed the rear windscreen in a Vauxhall Astra parked at the address.  They have then smashed a glass panel in the front door and also let off fireworks before leaving in the white vehicle.
     
    ELLESMERE PORT WEST
     
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Seven Row – Peugeot 308 has brick thrown through rear window.
  • Parkgate
  • Poplar Weint – Ford Fusion 3 has all 4 tyres punctured by unknown means.
  • St. Pauls
  • Acre Road - Citroen Xsara has both rear tyres slashed by unknown means.
  • Overpool Road – Renault Megane has nearside wing mirror damaged causing it to come away from the vehicle.
  • Windways – Ford Fiesta scratched along length of passenger side of vehicle.
  • Grange
  • Pooltown Road – Vauxhall Astra has denting caused by group of youths throwing stones in the road.
