New Year welcomes 130 new affordable houses in Winsford

Councillor Angela Claydon, Cabinet Member, Housing has visited new homes being completed at Woodford Grange, Winsford with Councillor Tom Blackmore, Ward councillor for Winsford Over and Verdin.

The new shared ownership Council houses in Winsford are built by Keepmoat Homes. 20 homes will be available for shared ownership and 110 for affordable rent. Some of the shared ownership units have been completed with all handovers expected by early 2018. The affordable rent units will start to be handed over in early 2018.

Councillor Claydon said: ”Woodford Grange is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking to get onto the housing ladder with an affordable shared ownership property. These homes are among the first new Council Houses to be built in the borough for over 40 years.”
